Tent Rocks National Monument,
aka Kasha-Katuwe - meaning White Cliffs, is a section of BLM land adjacent
to the Cochiti Pueblo near the Rio Grande River approx. 20 southwest of
Santa Fe. The area offers an astounding display of white rocks, most predominently
in the shape of pointed tents, hence the name. Relatively easy hiking trails
affords visitors with excellent views its stark features.
The photographs in this
photo tour were taken in the fall of 2007. They highlight the scenic wonders
